About Libby Baker Sweiger

I am the oldest of five children and have lived in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota all my live. I have been married for 33 years to a delightful, kind and funny man named Mike. My daughter is a true joy. I love life. I want to share its triumphs and sorrows with the world and the fact that I am here. I have bipolar disorder and have had it since my early 20's. I live above the madness of it and so I write about it! And speak about it. Soon I will finish a book about it. I have a strong faith, my faith doesn't carry me through the hard times...God does. I thank the Lord for my family and my wonderful friends online and off!

Shout It Out!

I’ve never been particularly quiet! I like the phrase “Shout it Out!” And I like this quote by C.S. Lewis: “Pain insists upon being attended to. God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our consciences, but shouts in … Continue reading

Manic Spring

I saw the series of pictures from tonight’s dinner and I thought I looked happy. But, very tired. I haven’t been sleeping. I might as well admit it to the world. The remission has ended. I am manic. Is it … Continue reading
